Trends With Tricia: You Never Know When Your Past Will Catch Up With You!

You Never Know When Your Past Will Catch Up With You!

In my former life before three kids and a real estate career, I was a college softball coach.  I was truly blessed to meet so many wonderful young ladies and their families.  I attend weddings, showers and even have the opportunity to help them buy and sell houses!

I got a message via Facebook from one of my former hitting "clients".  Julia and her younger sister, Laura, along with Joe, their fantastic father, would come out every Sunday to their high school batting cage and allow me to impart my hitting wisdom on them.  Julia was probably no more than a freshman in high school and Laura was about 12.

Here we are today, in a new home sales office in Wylie, TX, signing paperwork for Julia and her husband's first home!  Julia is married and mom to an absolute doll of a seven month old baby boy, Brady.  I still think of Julia as a pipsqueek, especially since she looks exactly the same but the truth is, she's a grown up!  And making her first real grown up purchase!

I am truly honored to be able to help Julia and Travis purchase their first home.  You never know where you will get that next client or when your past will catch up with you!

I enjoyed reading your post.  It is so true that you never know where the business will ome from.  I have helped my sales associate at Maurices and her husband finance a home.  I try to tell everybody I meet what I do. Also, Facebook is a great way to stay in touch with everybody you meet.  -Elisha

Most definitely Sabrina!  She told me her dad was happy I was helping her :)

Elisha, it's always great when people meet people in a non-threatening capacity.  It makes for an easier transition to tell them how you can help!
